A naturally steam-sterilized substrate makes all the difference

For nurseries or those who cultivate mushrooms and truffles, it is essential to use natural substrates that have not been treated with chemicals.

At the same time, however, they must be free from contamination, which is why steam is used to pasteurize or sterilize the chosen material quickly and completely naturally. There are various solutions available, and the method of application may vary depending on the type of material, the quantity, and the processing required.

STERILIZATION IN PALLETS

The substrate is treated directly in the beds where the desired crop will be grown.

STERILIZATION OF SEEDING PLATES

Some companies have decided to use steam to sterilize seed trays as well. These are simply stacked in a certain quantity and covered with a sheet that is securely fixed to the ground. Simple and effective.
